Large Pietersite in Sterling Silver Pendant

This is my largest pietersite cabochon, and it is an exceptional one! Amazing blue flash throughout - front and back!  I wrapped it in sterling silver to enhance the shimmer of the blue color play in the light. Pietersite is a sometimes called the Tempest stone because the flashy color and stone patterns often reassemble a storm. To me it reminds me of the waves of the ocean or the blue flame of a fire. It's a stone that is great for meditation and grounding the spirit to its etheric body (the life force).  Pietersite is said to discharge negative energies and emotional turmoil, while simultaneously cleansing the aura, and restoring it to calm.
